We had typically been staying all the way down somewhere between mile marker zero and mile marker 2, because of the Duval Street Fun. The more and more we've learned about the area, makes us want to keep coming back. This time we decided to do Islamorada because of the Party under the Moon. We lucked in and were in town during this month's Party under the Moon. It is a big deal here as the full moon means an excuse to have a cool party. This is a big festival that happens more than really one night, as all of the local bars get into the spirit. We had A good Time with video taping the kids at the Robbies Tarpon Feeding. It is one of the better pit stops on the way to mile marker zero, since it is half way down and tons of fun. Big tarpon are more than a handful. If you want to go to one of the major attractions try the Theater Marine Adventure. Oh so entertaining, this is one of the coolest things going for a family outing without getting wet! The jumps and lively overall experience is something to behold. I think the best in town thing to do in the evenings are the Lorelei Sunsets. After our many stays here at various hotels in Key West, Islamorada, and Key Largo, this is one of the best to do. Do you get the best of waterfront sunsets pleasures.
