To have Fun

Lots to Do

Go ahead and count me on the list for a super happy person that vacation in the Florida Keys. I'm not sure if I like the mango margaritas the best, or the reef trips! On this trip we decided to investigate some of the different boat ramp opportunities. I did not realize they have a launching area at the end of Simonton Street, very close to Mallory Square. A little bit out-of-the-way but still good is the Mile Marker Five boat ramp. It is on the shoulder of highway us1 on the upper end of Stock Island. Kind of hard to find is the Koehn Avenue Boat Ramp on Big Pine Key. Turn right on second road of Little Torch Key, just past big pine. Out in the middle of nowhere is the Blimp Road Boat Ramp, just go straight down blimp road. Make sure you bring all of your water toys to have fun with when you're in the water, even if it's right behind the hotel room.
