Local Boat Rentals

Each day is something crazy, and it's all water related. There's a lot of different Boat Trips you can pick from if you don't bring your own boat down. I wanted to comment on how beautiful I thought that Conch Reef was for Underwater photography. It is a medium to deep reef area with depths ranging from twenty five to one hundred feet. We like to area lot and it is located approximately eight miles east of Tavernier creek. Certain parts are marked as research only, part of the sanctuary preservation area. We came down from Miami and was a nice place to stay up top. Gilberts Marina is very high up in the Florida Keys so it's easy to get to from the city of Miami. Bring your boat or rent one and use it right here in Key Largo. After your boating and fishing pleasures, ice down your Hogfish catch and head in to this really cool marina and bar. What a great time and you get so much time underwater. You will burn a lot of calories on the trip, because you will not want to surface. If you're new to the area, you can contact Silent World Dive Center to get hooked up on a boat trip. What fun we had and could not have had a better boat captain. I like going out for a snorkel or scuba on the larger boats, just gives me a bit more peace of mind.
